FG to rebuild bombed UN house with N3.2 billion

It's been one year since the U.N headquarters was bombed. The Federal
Government has provided N3.2 billion to rehabilitate the building,
N2.6 billion to start rebuilding and N600 million for temporary
accomodation. The Federal government is ready to refund the $580,000
medical cost of overseas
treatment expended on non-UN
staff, which was borne by the UN. These were disclosed at a memorial
ceremony for the victims in
Abuja yesterday, Senator Bala
Mohammed, Minister of the
Federal Capital Territory, FCT
