Once in a blue moon

For those that enjoy doing things once in a blue moon this rare
calendar phenomenon would occur on Friday. 'Once in a blue moon' is
not just an
idiom, but a rare statistical freak
which occurs when a full moon occurs
twice in a calendar month. This Friday, August 31, will be the
first 'blue moon' in a while (the last
one was in March 2010) and there will
not be another one again until July
2015.With a full moon occurring once every
29 days, and a month topping out with
a maximum of 31 days, the combination
is a rare one - occurring around once
every two-and-a-half years. Sadly, the image above is a

we expect to see in the skies overhead
on Friday. If you only call your mother,have sex or have a
drink with people once in a
blue moon, prepare to clear your
schedule, cause Friday is actually a blue moon.
